I’ve got another best friend blog post coming in hot. Emily and I go back to middle school when her family moved here from Texas. Since she was the preachers kid and all she made sure we never got into trouble. HA. We have so many stories. So many memories. Some that should never be told to our children. (Im looking at you former youth group chaperones.) She grew up to have a heart of missions and for taking the gospel down the road or across the ocean. She actually met her husband, Scott on one of her trips overseas. Fast forward a few years-they got married and they moved to Africa and lived for a few years sacrificing so much, sharing Jesus’ love, growing their family, and loving on those around them. I am SO glad they are back in Greenwood now because like I said in the last post. There is absolutely nothing that can beat raising your children and homeschooling with your best friends. The ones that have been there the longest, through all the stages. Emily has been the most beautiful example of motherhood to me, listened to all of my worries, always able to give Godly practical advice, and brought me cookie bars and chocolate cake on the hardest of days. I know without a shadow of a doubt I have been prayed for throughout the good and bad and I just can’t ask for something better than that in a friend. She is the real deal. and so is her husband. and her three kids! Really, I just love them all!!!!!!!
